Schoodic Institute at Acadia National Park is hiring seasonal Field Ecology Technicians and Restoration Field Technicians for 2025. Both positions present a fantastic opportunity for recent college graduates interested in gaining experience conducting field work, communicating science, and working across such a varied landscape as Acadia National Park in coastal Maine.
The restoration crew will continue work on mountain summits, in wetlands, and with invasive species. Restoration field technician application deadline is January 17, 2025.
The field ecology technicians assist with and lead multiple projects working with teams of Earthwatch volunteers, conducting intertidal field work, and monitoring biodiversity. Ecology field technician application deadline is January 31, 2025.
