Join Dr. Michael A. Crimmins to learn some of the unique aspects of the hydroclimate of southern Arizona including seasonality in precipitation and topoclimatic gradients. He will also explore how a changing climate interacts with these features and how increasing temperatures are driving an increasingly arid environment across the southwest U.S. Long-term historical patterns in precipitation and temperature will be explored as will recent updates to climate projections for the Southwest.
