2025 Fathauer Lecture in Political Economy

Thomas Sterner, PhD is a Swedish Economist and a Professor of Environmental Economics at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden whose research and publications have focused on addressing environmental problems through design of environmental policy instruments. Recently Dr. Sterner has focused on the issues of acceptability of policy instruments, their distribution effects and ways of making them more efficient. He will be giving a lecture on Thursday, February 20, 2025 as part of our Annual Fathauer Lecture in Political Economy series.
