Join Arizona Environment and The Loft's Solar Cinema Program for a sustainability film series, Sustainability Under the Stars. Bringing together voices from the University of Arizona campus and Tucson community, explore connections between environment and society through a FREE four-part film series.

  • DOLORES - April 10 @ 6 p.m.
    • An equal partner in co-founding the first farm workers unions with Cesar Chavez, Dolores Huerta tirelessly led the fight for racial and labor justice, becoming one of the most defiant feminists of the 20th century.
  • THE TRUE COST - April 16 @ 6 p.m.
    • The price of clothing has been decreasing for decades, while the human and environmental costs have grown dramatically. This story asks us to consider, who really pays the price for our clothing?
  • PRINCESS MONONOKE - April 23 @ 6 p.m.
    • Trapped Humans and nature clash when San, a girl raised by wolves, must defend the forest against the encroaching people of Iron Town.
  • A REFLECTION OF LIFE - April 25 @ 5:30 p.m.
    • Emphasizing Native communities, explore water issues in the Pacific Northwest, while noting the broader issues facing the entire West.
