Tucson Festival of Books: Explore Science City!

The Tucson Festival of Books (TFOB) will take place right in the heart of the UArizona Mall this upcoming March 9-10, and with over 65 local and national organizations showcased, Science City is the place to be for all things STEM at TFOB!

Are you planning on attending? Stop by Science City’s four themed "neighborhoods," Everyday Life, Natural World, Tomorrow, and You, packed with interactive exhibits and offering options for everyone to explore! The Arizona Institute for Resilience (that’s us!) will be there alongside the Cooperative Extension, the Desert Legume Program, Kartchner Caverns State Park, Tucson Herpetological Society, Mt. Lemmon SkyCenter Observatory, and many more.

For over 15 years, Science City has been a beloved cornerstone of the Tucson Festival of Books, thanks to the amazing efforts of the Office of Societal Impact and support from the Volunteer Liaisons. While you’re there, engage with cutting-edge research, enjoy author discussions and signings at the Science Stage and Science Café, and join in on the new scavenger hunt for a chance to win prizes sponsored by local organizations and TFOB partners.
