The The University of Arizona Fish and Wildlife Society is participating in Bio Blitz, a 24 hour event where different wildlife experts will be leading a variety of tours teaching about all the different bio blitz in the Santa Rita Experimental Range. These tours will help to identify, collect, and count as many flora and fauna species as possible. You can decide what tours you'd like to attend, however it is important to know that most have a limited number of spots, so its first come first serve!
During these tours, there may be opportunities for animal handling, however you will be required to have a hunting license if handling. This is for both our safety as well as the wildlife's and it is also a legal requirement.
A hunting license is about $37.00 and can be purchased at the AZ Game and Fish website.
