Working with the U of A's Heat Resilience Initiative, this student will assist communities in developing heat action roadmaps to determine and communicate the local impacts of extreme heat, assess their capacity to respond, and design a locally tailored blueprint for heat resilience.

Based in Patagonia, AZ, this internship is ideal for students passionate about conservation, restoration ecology, or sustainable land management. Interns will work alongside professionals to support biodiversity and learn practical skills in native plant care and seed processing.

Interns assist the Conservation Science Director with maintaining CSDP’s wildlife camera photo database to help translate community science into tangible conservation outcomes. Interns will gain knowledge in community science program management, photo database management, image analysis software, and wildlife species identification.
