Lightning has been a fascination for Arizona Native Americans and the public for generations, and the lightning phenomenon in Arizona, including the Grand Canyon, has features that are unique in the U.S. Join meteorologist Ron Holle as he discusses when, where, and how much lightning occurs during the short monsoon season and its impacts on people and property in the state.
