Tucson Village Farm, a program of the Pima County Cooperative Extension and the University of Arizona, is looking for passionate University of Arizona students to join our team of interns as community educators for our award-winning field trip program. Interns will work in our outdoor classroom space and help deliver hands-on STEM and seed-to-table lessons to hundreds of local students each week. As part of the CALES campus at Campbell and Roger, you will be surrounded by lush gardens and year-round food production while building skills in facilitation, public speaking, and communication. This unpaid internship is eligible for UA academic credit, and interns are welcome to take home vegetables, harvest permitting. Field trips take place Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., with flexibility to choose one or more days per week. All interns receive farm orientation and curriculum training. Apply here: https://forms.gle/mrypXvLSZnDUbRe16. For questions, contact mayers@arizona.edu or visit tucsonvillagefarm.arizona.edu.
