Bio/Diversity Project Internship (DUE: JULY 15th)

Interns will get experience working in education outreach and teaching environmental science lessons in local schools, while networking with staff from the National Park Service and other local environmental leaders. As an intern, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside educators in K-12 classrooms developing and delivering place-based and identity-based environmental science curricula. You'll also develop science communication skills and broaden your knowledge of environmental science-related issues while simultaneously providing encouragement and outreach to underrepresented groups of K-12 students. Interns can receive financial compensation at $15/hour for up to 10 hours of work per week and 3-units of academic credit through a number of departments.
